Family Traditions

In 2006 we moved to the USA from the Netherlands.

So, how does it feel being so far away from home. Leaving family, friends and my normal Dutch life behind.

We are still keeping up some Dutch traditions going in our family, like Sinterklaas and the things we do during the Holidays and Easter for example.

The Dutch seem the be very organized. I don’t see myself being very organized, but hey, thanks! Is it the way the Dutch raise their kids, keep their relationship going, manage work – parenting balance? I find things that are popping up on Facebook posts, books and articles. Is it a generalization?
